We innovatively capture the feel of Santa Fe while tailoring every project to fit our clients’ unique vision. Overlooking the 18th holes of the Sunrise and Sunset golf courses in Las Campanas, this home was carefully crafted to evoke the classic compound feel, even with a narrow lot. This allows for multiple living spaces that can be enjoyed separately but are connected through the flow of portals, large windows, and impressive glass doors.
Informed by our thoughtful consideration of the clients’ needs and vision, we assembled the perfect team comprised of architect Lorn Tryk, interior designer Lisa Samuel, and landscape architect Solange Serquis.
To craft the feeling of this home, Lisa Samuel of Samuel Design Group took into consideration the stunning views that the architecture accentuates. Their approach to this project was to “evoke nature’s love, which translates to an intrinsic feeling of well-being and comfort.” This home welcomes and captures the eye with expert touches such as handcrafted ceramic and marble tile, a stunning Carrera marble pedestal sink, and countless other touches that work in harmony to capture ‘nature’s essence.’
The master suite, in particular, boasts impressive craftsmanship with a timeless hand-carved mantel that leads the eye out the floor-to-ceiling glass doors into the enticing mountain landscape beyond.
The outside space is expertly, yet subtly, woven into a geometric garden of walkways, smooth white pebbles, and dark steel planters and edging. The contrast of the refined white pebbles with dark steel and rambunctious gravel mulch invites a reflection on the power that opposites can have when they share such an intentional space. 
Throughout the compound’s outdoor spaces, impressive granite blocks provide the stability and connection that the entire design rests upon. The result is a pleasing and utterly serene network of connected outdoor spaces that draws you to meander your way from the quiet inner courtyard to the impressive and inviting back portal - getting you there just in time for sunset.
