Designed by Lauren Tryk and May Gardner, the home is a study in restraint and intention, where clean lines and a rectilinear form quietly frame the ever-changing drama of the New Mexico skies and distant mountain ranges.

Expansive glass walls and carefully placed apertures draw the outside in, blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature. View corridors are orchestrated like living artworks, showcasing the rugged silhouettes of the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez Mountains. Every element of the structure is harmonized with the land, emphasizing horizontal planes and low, grounded volumes that honor the desert’s scale and silence.

Inside, the architecture becomes a vessel for personal expression. The interiors are curated with a balance of warmth and precision, reflecting the client’s individual taste through an eclectic mix of contemporary art, artisanal textures, and refined materials. The house becomes a gallery and sanctuary in equal measure—designed to both inspire and retreat.

The landscaping, crafted by Serquis and Associates, further extends this vision. Using native flora, sculptural rock formations, and subtle grading, the outdoor spaces are shaped to feel at once wild and composed—anchoring the home to its environment while softening its architectural rigor.

This residence is not just a home but a dialogue—between art and landscape, structure and spirit, the personal and the timeless.
